Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently launched a Sea Plane from Vijayawada to Srisailam. This is the demo/trial launch by the Chief Minister from Prakasam Barrage Vijayawada. This is a 30-minute journey in which you can easily reach from one destination to another. The total travelling time is 20 minutes with 10 minutes take off and landing timing. This project is launched by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Civil Aviation Minister Ram Manohar Naidu with a few centre and State Government officials and employees.
This is one of the important steps in of Civil Aviation Sector. Recently Andhra Pradesh hosted an International Drone conference, Sea Plane launching is another development. The total distance covered by this seaplane is approximately 150 km from Vijayawada to Srisailam from the water route. There is also aircon activity in which this plane will fly at an altitude of 1500 feet. This initiative also attracts tourism in which tourists can enjoy the natural beauty from only 1500 feet. All the permissions will be taken to fly this plane at this lower altitude from ATC.

As we already explained in this post it is a 30-minute journey in which 10 minutes are required to take off and landing. This Sea Plane doesn’t need any type of Runway like a normal aircraft. It is operated on water. A new Floating Jetty are also set up in the Punnami Ghat. On the other side of Srisailam, there is a temporary Jetty. Additionally, there is an arrangement started to install ramps and jetties to ease the process of boarding and De boarding.

State governments always work on their infrastructure improvement and doing new activities in their state so tourism from all over India as well as from world visit their state. So Andhra Pradesh Government also working on this field and enhancing there to resume activities. Sea Plane activity was launched on the 9th of November in the presence of CM Chandrababu Naidu. For this plane, there is no need for a separate Runway to take off and land. This plane will land and take off from water so it is pronounced from the name of a seaplane.

According to the CEO of SpiceJet, this is a game-changing initiative in which in various cities. There are 20 remote roots in which they are going to launch this activity.
