Nijut Moina Scheme
The education of the girls and stopping the girl’s marriage in the Assam state, state government starts the Nijut Moina Scheme. The main motive for launching this scheme is to increase the education among the girls of the state. This scheme is launched by the state government on 12th February 2024. To stop child marriage and motivate the girls in their education state government provides them with financial assistance. With the help of this scheme, the government increased the education in state and made the state free from child marriage.
Some so many families are getting the marriage due to the lack of money. They are marrying their girls in the under age. They did not educate their girl. With that life of the girls become so difficult and their lives become dumped. By getting the education girls become independent and also get knowledge.
The girls students who are studying in the 11th class get financial assistance till their post-graduation. Under the scheme near about 10 lakh females of the state get 1,500 crore for five years. Every month the government send Rs. 1000/- of their account to the girl students of class 11th and 12th. When they graduate the amount increases i.e. Rs. 1250 deposit every month beneficiary for continue their study. For the post-graduation Rs. 2500 deposit by the government of the beneficiary.
