The Karnataka Tourism Society members are always working to improve tourism in the state. Every state has a different culture and different values for their religion. Some mainly came from any state inside the Karnataka as well as outside of the Karnataka. Local people know about their events and festivals. People who come outside of Karnataka, are not aware of the famous as well as local events. So this will have a very big impact on tourism. Also, it will impact people who have businesses like hotels, hotels, and tour guides.
Now KTS requested the Karnataka tourism department to prepare a calendar in which all the major festivals that attract tourism inside Karnataka will be included. They give examples like Mysore Dasara Hampi Utsav. If people know about local festivals and events, tourists come outside from Karnataka and this will improve tourism in the state. Tourism also has a very good impact on GDP. States like Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir are based on tourism.
To provide more facilities to tourists in the State of Karnataka, the Karnataka Tourist Society members urge the state Tourism Department of the State to make calendars for the upcoming major event in which more tourists visit the state. A special request also has been made to the Ministry of Tourism Karnataka State. In this request, the Vehicle Operators of Karnataka asked the state government to make and prepare the events calendars of the events of the state. As we all know there are so many festivals that have been celebrated in the state of Karnataka like the big and grand events like Mysuru Dasara and the Other one of Hampi Utsav.
After preparing the calendar, the government must share this festival event calendar of Karnataka with the Tour operators which are private, so that they can draw more and more tourists to the state. KTS Request Karnataka State Tourism Department For Local Events & Festivals Calendar
As we all know in the state of Karnataka, there are so many festivals has are celebrated the whole of the year. Now the start of this year, the private tour operators of the state, requested the state government of Karnataka to prepare the event calendar for this year. The demand for this Event Calendar has been made by the members of KTS ( Karnataka Tourism Society).
As per the special report, one of the members of this KTS has been stated that they requested this so many times, but the department still not taking any action towards the same. We now take the example of one of the most popular and big events of the state Mysuru Dasara. This event is also known as the Global Festival as per the terms of the government. With the help of this festival, several tourists visit here and the government spends crore. But the government did not earn so much as their spending amount.
