This scheme is specially made to provide the benefits to the people for their Home Repair or renovate their old house. The name of this scheme is the Imbichibava Housing Scheme. This scheme is started by the state government of Kerala. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be given to the beneficiaries to repair their old house. The department concerned with this scheme is the Minority Welfare Department of Kerala. The amount given under this scheme is Rs.50,000/-.
The main beneficiaries which is targeted under this scheme are also widows, divorcees ladies and abandoned persons who belong to the minority categories like Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Parsi and Jain. Eligibility Criteria For Scheme
There are some of the eligibility criteria have been set by the department. So if you also want to get the benefit of this scheme, then you need to check the terms and conditions of the scheme.
- The scheme is only applicable in the state of Kerala.
- The main benefit under this scheme has been given to the families who belong to the BPL families.
- Only the sole earner of the Family can apply for this scheme to get financial assistance from the government.
- Candidates who are going to apply for this scheme must have the maximum area of the house is not more than 12000 S. Feet.
- Under this scheme, the first preference will be given to the ladies or their kids who are physically and mentally challenged.
- If any of the women who are widows and living with their children have regular incomes from the government the government will not be able to obtain help under this scheme.
- Any of the beneficiaries who already getting the benefit from any of the government under any of the housing schemes can not be selected as beneficiaries.
